New Ford E-Transit Custom to be Manufactured in Kocaeli Factories Introduced

It was stated that Ford Transit Custom, which is defined as the best selling commercial vehicle in Europe, will be produced at Ford Otosan Kocaeli Factories. It is stated that E-Transit Custom, Ford's second fully electric commercial model for Europe, is of strategic importance in Ford's electric transformation.

It is stated that E-Transit Custom, which is stated to be the first of four fully electric commercial vehicles to be offered by Ford Pro until 2024 after E-Transit, is designed to be a new reference point in Europe's one-ton commercial vehicle segment and to facilitate the transition of all businesses to electric vehicles.

It was expressed that the electric version of Ford's iconic model, Transit Custom, which leads the trade, was designed to fit Ford Pro's ecosystem of solutions that increase productivity and add value. It was stated that E-Transit Custom will be supported with Ford Pro software, charging, service and financing solutions through a single platform in order to increase the productivity of businesses and reduce their costs.

The latest addition to Ford Pro's electric vehicle range will form an important part of Ford's ambitious commitment to achieving zero emissions for all Ford vehicle sales in Europe by 2035 and a carbon-neutral footprint in Europe.

The fully electric E-Transit Custom will draw attention with its 380 kilometers range, DC fast charging, full towing capability and dynamic new style. It is stated that the new commercial vehicle will also help to take the productivity of the enterprises to new levels by making use of the advanced connection technologies that are constantly in operation.

It is stated that by 2024, in addition to the two-ton E-Transit commercial vehicle, four new all-electric vehicles will join the iconic Transit family, including the electric versions of the Transit Custom and Transit Courier and Tourneo Custom and Tourneo Courier models.

It was expressed that the production of the all-electric E-Transit Custom, which is part of the most comprehensive 'Next Generation Transit Custom' family to be offered to customers in Europe, will start in the second half of 2023. More detailed product information will be announced in September this year.
