THE HIGHEST SHARE IN THE INVESTMENT PROGRAM HAS 27 PERCENT TO THE TRANSPORT SECTOR
The Presidency of the Republic of Turkey Strategy and Budget Department announced that the Presidential Decision on the Adoption and Implementation of the 2022 Investment Program was published in the Official Gazette dated 15.01.2022 and numbered 31720. It was stated that the highest share of the investment allowance of 184.3 billion TL within the scope of the 2022 Investment Program was taken by the transportation-communication sector with 27% and the education sector with 13.3%.It was stated that among the organizations within the scope of the Central Government Budget, the institutions that received the most investment appropriation were: General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works with 18.3 Billion TL, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with 17.7 Billion TL, General Directorate of Highways with 15.5 Billion TL and Ministry of Health with 15 Billion TL.

MERSIN FREE ZONE AIMS TO INCREASING ITS TRADE VOLUME TO 3.5 BILLION DOLLARS
It has been announced that the trade volume of Mersin Free Zone, which is stated to allow manufacturers in the Eastern Mediterranean to trade with 106 countries, is planned to increase to 3.5 billion dollars this year, which reached 3.3 billion dollars in 2021. It was stated that 682 different products, mainly machinery and metal, chemistry, ready-made clothing, food, medical and packaging materials, are traded between companies in the region and 106 countries.
BILATERAL AND TRANSIT DOCUMENT QUALITY INCREASED AT TURKEY LITHUANIA KUKK MEETING
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Transport Services Regulation General Directorate stated that they held the Turkey-Lithuania KUKK Meeting on 25 January 2022 via teleconference.
