Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang, Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Services Company's (BTS) high level executives as well as Siemens Mobility's upper executives have attended the introduction ceremony that took place for Turkey's first metro export.
The Siemens Mobility - Bozankaya partnership won the Green Line Metro tender in 2016 and the partnership has celebrated as the first metro vehicle left the assembly line. Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang, Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Services Company's (BTS) high level executives as well as Siemens Mobility's upper executives have attended the ceremony at Bozankaya's Ankara factory for the first metro vehicle that is ready to be sent to Thailand.
In his speech at the delivery ceremony of the Bangkok Green Line Metro Project, Murat Bozankaya said: "We are proud to represent Turkey at international projects. Today; as Bozankaya, we are conducting the first metro export in the history of the Turkish Republic. We are very happy to directly contribute Turkey's exports with this project. We will continue our transportation projects at Turkey's ally Thailand. After the Bangkok Green Line Metro project, we will work very hard for the Blue Line Metro project as well. We would like to express our thanks to the Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang, the executives of BTS and our consortium partner Siemens Mobility."
