After a hard and competitive tender, the first IVECO Daily midibus units have been delivered to the authorities at Brazil's Patos de Minas city. In addition to the current municipal fleet, these will be used to transport the students of public schools. IVECO BUS Latin America Director Humberto Spinetti has stated that as part of the project, they've put emphasis upon easy accessibility of handicapped students to their schools and driving comfort. He has indicated that as a result, the safe, economic and eco-friendly Iveco Daily product line has been the ultimate choice. He has also underlined that with the assembly of the new technology Mobile Wheelchair equipment, this model also ensures comfortable and easy transportation of handicapped students as well. He said: "Our vehicles allow comfortable and safe travel of all the students. As a result, the model has achieved not just an economic and efficient solution but also a much more comfortable and higher student transportation capacity in heavy traffic.
