Super Delivery From The Longly Awaited Scania SUPER!

At the delivery ceremony held at Beykoz Kundura Factory, Integral Logistics, Sultantur International Transportation, Sinan Aydın Kardeşler Agricultural Products, Transtur International Transportation, Öz Mumcu Food, Ftm Logistics, Ug Demir Çelik, Imamoğulları Logistics, Öztorunlar International Transportation, İbrahim Şeflek Transportation, Aktur Transportation, Alper Frigo Logistics, Aslan Uluman, Karaerler Transportation, Ereli Grup Logistics, Erçal Fındık, Nev Anka Transportation, Zelal International Transportation and Ayyıldız Ready-Mixed Concrete received their new vehicles from Scania Turkey Country Manager Per Stümer and Doğuş Automotive Scania Sales Manager Bayazıt Canbulat.

“We Are The Import Market Leader”

Scania Sales Manager Bayazıt Canbulat said that; “We started the first deliveries of our Super model, which was first produced in 1951 and is now described as the best Scania model ever produced by the brand. Our Super model, which has been eagerly awaited in the market with its low fuel consumption and has registered its title with awards such as "Most Economical Truck" and "Green Truck", is preferred by fleets that carry out international and domestic transportation and users who carry out individual transportation. All of the vehicles we deliver today have a 4-year service contract with 5 maintenance agreements.”

Evaluating the year 2023, Canbulat used the following statements; “The heavy commercial vehicle market in 2023 will close by over 37 thousand units. As Scania, we are leaving behind a successful year with sales of 2,700 units. When we look at the TAID figures at the end of November, Scania again became the most preferred brand among imported brands. Likewise, we rank 3rd in the total market. We expect the market to shrink slightly in 2024. However, as Scania, we want to maintain our position in terms of sales volume and market share.”

Making a speech after the vehicle delivery and plaque ceremony, Scania Turkey Country Manager Per Stümer said that; “Turkey is an important market for Scania. Because Turkey is located in a strategic location. Here we have a successful cooperation with Doğuş Otomotiv, one of the largest automotive groups in Turkey. Our cooperation with Doğuş Otomotiv and our Authorized Dealers and Services is very important to us. 2023 was a good year for Scania. We think of 2024 as a year where there may be difficulties. We think that especially our Super model will be very popular in the market. We also promise sustainability in the logistics ecosystem. We think we will get through the difficult year with our new product.”

While the Greentruck award, one of the most prestigious awards in Europe, went to Scania for the 6th time in a row with Scania Super, Scania also received the "Most Economical Truck Award", which is another proof of its title as the most efficient brand in terms of fuel consumption, and registered its sector leadership in fuel consumption. The Scania engine in the Super also won the "Diesel Engine of the Year" award for its contribution to CO2 reduction.
