MERCEDES-BENZ TÜRK MAKES THE DELIVERY OF THE YEAR

Mercedes-Benz Türk has sold 35 Tourismo 16 RHD (2+1) to Kamil Koç. With this purchase, Kamil Koç now has a total of 413 Mercedes-Benz coaches in its fleet.

MERCEDES-BENZ TÜRK MAKES THE DELIVERY OF THE YEAR

Kamil Koç operates in the road passenger transportation sector and with a fleet of nearly 1.100 vehicles, it serves its passengers at 861 sales points in 67 provinces. The company continues to rejuvenate its fleet with Mercedes-Benz's new Tourismo 16 RHD (2+1) models. Kamil Koç has purchased 35 Tourismo 16 RHD (2+1) through Mercedes-Benz Türk Dealership Koluman İstanbul and with this investment, it has increased the number of Mercedes-Benz coaches in its fleet to 413 units.

In addition to Mercedes-Benz Türk Chairman Süer Sülün and Kamil Koç Otobüsleri A.Ş. General Manager Cengiz Doğan, Mercedes-Benz Türk Coach Marking and Sales Director Alper Kurt, Coach Fleet Sales Group Manager Burak Batumlu, Coach Sales Operations Group Manager Murat Kızıltan, Mercedes-Benz Türk Authorized Dealership Koluman İstanbul General Manager Ali Saltık, Financial and Administrative Affairs Director Erol Özkal, Coach Sales Manager İbrahim Önder Gökçe, Kamil Koç Financial Affairs Director Ömer Faik Ünsal, Operational Director Çağatay Kepek, Self-Owned Fleet Manager Ömer Tunca, Northern Marmara Regional Manager Baki Karakaçan have attended the delivery ceremony at the Esma Sultan Mansion in Ortaköy.

"We Continue to Maintain Our Leadership of 51 Years"

In his speech at the ceremony, Mercedes-Benz Türk Chairman Süer Sülün said: "We are happy to sell 35 new Tourismo RHD (2+1) to an old company like Kamil Koç that has been operating in interurban passenger transportation sector for the last 91 years. As Mercedes-Benz Türk, with a total investment volume of over 1 billion Euros, we continue to be one of Turkey's largest foreign capital investments and maintain our leadership of 51 years in the market with our sales. In that sense, we improve ourselves with each new day, diversify our products according to the demands and expectations of our customers and make investments to our facilities. Since the day our company was found, we have invested over 460 million € to our coach factory and we have manufactured over 85.000 coaches. In 2017, our company has manufactured 3.795 coaches and exported 3.350 of these. We hope to continue our long years of partnership with large companies like Kamil Koç in the domestic market as well."

Kamil Koç Otobüsleri A.Ş General Manager Cengiz Doğan said: "Just as each year, Kamil Koç continues to take firm steps towards reaching its goals this year. With nearly 1.100 vehicles operating our fleet, we began 2018 with a goal to carry 20 million passengers and made very significant investments. All these investments will bring us closer to our goals. Despite the fluctuations in the currency rates, we have made a very important investment. Our journey of investment at the beginning of the season with 35 vehicles, is a sign of our trust in our sector and the national economy. Kamil Koç's investments shall continue in parallel with the growth of its fleet and number of passengers. We will continue to improve our service quality with valuable business partners like Mercedes-Benz Türk, grow and serve our passengers. I would like to express my thanks to the Mercedes-Benz Türk family for this partnership based on mutual trust and understanding."

Mercedes-Benz Türk Coach Marking and Sales Director Alper Kurt said: "Our sector is a dynamic sector that renews with each day, while increasing its service variety and quality.
